Obama Kool Aid

“Nasty Tasting Kool-Aid”

It is shocking and downright confusing to watch “Obama-mania”. The guy was actually in the Senate for about 7 minutes before beginning his campaign to run for President. He claims to be a “uniter” but he has never crossed the aisle to work with Republicans.

In truth he is a radical left wing ideologue cut straight from the cloth of Karl Marx himself. You want to go to school? Barrack will GIVE it to you! You want a job? Barrack will GIVE it to you! You want a house?

Barrack will GIVE it to you! But be warned!! If you want to work and make a profit for yourself, be a success – that will be frowned upon.

Despite your efforts YOU must GIVE it all to Barrack so that he can then GIVE it to others.

Also be warned that if you make – say $35k a year – your taxes will now go to help pay for the health care of that guy who lives in the ritzy neighborhood across town who pulls down $150k per year. Oh yeah – with your new 50% tax rate you will also help to put his kids through school.

If you think this is far-fetched, use a more common sense approach to

see what a radical force this guy really is. My father once told me

that more than half of your persona will be shaped by the company that you keep. Like it or not, the friends that you choose over your life will help define the person that you will become; the person that you are. Obama has confirmed friendships surrounded himself with ant-American radicals. Take Bill Ares, a guy who once tried to bomb the Pentagon and whose wife was on the FBIs most wanted list. Barrack says

“That was a long time ago.” Jeremiah Wright was Obama’s pastor for 20

years! For 2 decades Obama had no problem with the racist hate being spewed from the pulpit. He only cared when it was exposed. He did not care when Wright was baptizing his children. Father Flegler, he of the anti-Hillary, anti-white rant, is also a friend of Barrack’s for the past 20 years. Obama has been quoted as saying that Father F is an important person in his life. Father F hugged Farrkhan – called him his “brother”. Obama set aside over $200,000 in ear-marks to help Father F’s church. $200k of tax payer money. Yes, a “Uniter” indeed. Lest we forget Mrs Obama. She wrote in her thesis while at Princeton that “blacks must join in solidarity to combat a white oppressor”.

Interestingly, access to the thesis has been restricted until November 5, 2008 – the day after the election. Tony Reszko? Yes he was convicted but “That was not Tony that I knew” Barrak said. We know – its not the Pastor that you knew either. What’s next? Not the wife that he knew?

Sitting down for tea and crumpets with Hugo Chavez and Ahmadinejad may be nice. After they wreck hell will Barrack say “Those weren’t the guys I knew?”
Go ahead and add these concerns to his abject ignorance of economics, his regular gaffes (like his uncle who liberated Auschwitz ), his inexperience and his inability to articulate anything of substance. The Kool Aid that all of supporters have been drinking is simply poisonous.

Why gas prices are too high

Here is an article written in response a number of people on a CNN blog trying to blame the President for gas prices. Of course CNN pulled it because its viewpoints are totaly against their agenda. Thank you to Bizzaro for providing it.

The ignorance by some of you is absolutely obscene.   You should seriously have paid attention in economics class.  More to the point – the quasi socialist politicians that are running for office should take ECON 101.  It is not Bush’s fault. It is not the traders’ fault and…. GASP… it is NOT the fault of the oil companies.

Those of you who want to blame everyone else should note that:

The price of oil and gas is driven by supply and demand GLOBALLY.   GLOBAL demand is ever increasing.  Only 2 in 10 Chinese own a car and the similar situation exists in India .  What do you think will happen to DEMAND when a half a billion more people buy cars?   Yeah – that must be Bush’s fault. The government is going to fix that right?  How about starting at home and curtailing your own consumption?

Next – overall profits for oil companies SEEM big but in reality they are smaller than you would think.  If you cut through the BS you will notice that the PROFIT MARGINS for oil companies are thin.  They are less than companies in industries like retail and technology.   Further – they are taxed at every step of the process.  These companies can ultimately do 1 of 3 things with their earnings: Produce, Develop or Pay Taxes.   The more taxes they have to pay, the less they can put into development or production. The less they can invest in development or production, the more supply is restrained.  Get it?  Less supply – higher prices.  It is easy to see that this windfall profit tax the enviro-marxists are talking about is a bunch of crap.   So tell me – when these companies have an earnings shortfall do we as tax-payers give them the money back?  It did not work under Carter in the 70s and will not work now.   I thought the old Soviet Union was the place where you were not allowed to make a profit.

WE DO NOT HAVE TO DEPEND ON FOREIGN OIL.  The EPA, special interest groups and environmentalists are doing us all great injustice. We have the resources available right here at home and we have to ability and technology to drill cleanly. ANWAR should be opened. This is just stupid.  A pipeline already exists and the place is not “pristine” as the many would have you believe.  It is friggin TUNDRA where nothing can live and it is a very small plot of land.   It will yield 1 million barrels a day IMMEDIATELY and not in 10 years as the environmentalists would have you believe.   The Alaskans themselves want it drilled but in classic socialist form- the dems and are telling the residents of the state are what is best for them.    There are also vast resources right off the shores of California and Florida .  There is no legitimate reason why we can not and should not drill there.  The enviro concerns are overblown – during the Katrina debacle not one drip of oil was spilled into the seas.  The technology is there. So are the resources.  We need alternatives like NUCLEAR however in the near term we can and must unleash the power of our own.   Let capitalism and the free market work.  Regulations only strangle progress.
